Publisher review:Javascript Photo Album is a set of html and javascript files which are uploaded together with your JPG files onto your web space. This program is a set of html and javascript files which are uploaded together with your JPG files onto your web space. Your images can then conveniently be viewed by accessing "index.htm" in your browser. It requires no special web space, but you must make a few settings in the "variables.js" file before uploading. Since there is no server involved that resizes your images for you, you must create tiny versions of your images ("thumbnails") manually and upload them too.Thumbnails are arranged in 4 rows and 5 columns per page, 5 pages max (=100 images).Useful for: Any random image collection that you quickly want to upload on your http space.Fits into your homepage, no title bar, no banners. Design can be adjusted with basic html/java knowledge.Features: - Optional: The visitor can switch between two image sizes (small/large). - Optional: The visitor can turn a preview panel on/off. Thumbnails are shown simultaneously, reduced to one row (with scroll bar). Precondition: There must be at least the small image set available, and its images must match the following sizes:640x480, 720x480, 819x480, 983x480 or 360x480 pixels - The preview panel provides more of a photo album feel. It is possible to add individual comments to the images, enter a welcome text on a front page, and group the images into sub categories which are listed on that front page.
